The Departure of Candace Owens From The Daily Wire And What We Can Learn From It.

Geno Giovanni 3.26.24

Candace Owens and The Daily Wire have parted ways. I am sure you have heard. The news shocked me a little, to be honest to me. Even though some of us have been expecting something to happen.

Rumors flew around Monday that Owens was fired. There is no evidence of such. She might have been terminated, however. We will not know for a while. That is how these things work.

Even those close to her, podcaster Brandon Tatum, has said he did not know what happened.

Political commentator Tim Pool and his Tim Cast had suspicions about Owens. The cast thinks Ownes was not fired, but her contract was ending, she wanted more money to stay, or it was a suit brewing from the French Government about French President Emmanuel Macron's wife, Brigitte Macron, claiming that she is a man, was part of a conspiracy theory that Owens promoted during an episode of her podcast.

Candace Owens announced that she and The Daily Wire are parting ways, tweeting "Finally free," while CEO Jeremy Boring tweeted they have "ended their relationship."

We do not know what actually happened. What we do know is that Jewish Rabbis of the ADL were angry at Owens The Daily Wire, after her public stance on the war between Israel and Gaza. And the personal attacks created by Ben Shapiro publically on X.com against Candace Owens.d.

What can we take away from Owens's departure from The Daily Wire? Americans are at liberty to think and say what they want. And sometimes freedom of speech comes at a cost.

1. Conservatives or people on the right have a wide range of opinions outside of the agreement of the constitution, compared to democrats or their voting base of left-leaning people, who conform most times.

a.) The Free Thinker - Able to make your own personal decisions. The Daily Wire is made up of vast opinions on different topics. Many other news outlets will not be patrician to a political party and allow you (the viewer) to make up your own mind.

b.) Mug Club and Steven Crowder v. The Daily Wire wanted to hire Mug Club on their platform while Crowder was leaving The Blaze Media. Differences of opinions in the contract prevented Mug Club from joining The Daily Wire as Mug Club felt they would be held to big tech.

c.) Tucker Carlson beginning Tucker Carlson Network and his disagreement with Ben Shapiro on whether the US should be aiding in another war when the US has its own problems.

2. The different opinions give the viewer/listener many sides of a story to make an educated opinion.

a.) If you need help to make a decision or further be knowledgeable on a topic and listening to podcasters (especially) those on the right who you trust with delivering daily news, you can listen to more voices and make your own decision.

b.) Fox News used to say Fair and Balanced.

c.) Publications like this, Geno Giovanni Presents, and many others report stories with facts and minimum opinion.

3. The market will expand on journalists, commentators, and anyone related to broadcasting the news

a.) The expansion in the last five years of more conservative commentators, [news channels of] Newsmax, and News Nation.

b.) Many perspectives of news instead of a few corporations and government feeding news to the big 3 ABC, NBC, CBS, and on the cable front, CNN.

I would suggest sticking with the media or commentators that tend to report unbias storytelling than those who are partisan, especially towards the left or the democrat party, to their history or lies about the pandemic and where it came from, how it was spread, and how to protect yourself, censoring doctors about the harms of the jab, the Russian Russia hoax on Trump including the spying by the Clinton campaign, and naming the 2020 riots in the streets peaceful protests when at least two billion dollars of damage was committed and finally saying the riot in the capital as the biggest threat of democracy since the Civil War when only one person died and she was one of the protestors.
